A café born from a pause.
The Calm Cup story began in Gurgaon during a season when life slowed down enough for one question to become impossible to ignore: what if calm could be part of the menu? What started as a notebook, a name, a family’s belief, and a love for coffee became a warm little café filled with books, hemp-forward drinks, comfort food, a hand-painted wall, a moon upstairs, and people who came in for a cup but often stayed for the feeling.
It was never built to be loud. It was built to be felt.
The first chapter lived inside a café — for twelve months, six days a week, with around 35 orders a day and a 4.9★ rating across 383 Google reviews. Guests loved it. High-street rent didn't: it was our largest cost, more than half of what the café earned.
So the next chapter starts with the one thing we got wrong. The Calm Cup is coming back inside spaces partners already have — clubhouses, offices, stores, studios and lobbies — in a compact format with a focused menu, run by our team, with the same belief in coffee, calm, and spaces that make people feel a little more at home.
